Masking & prep
We clean and mask the paint around the headlight so sanding never touches surrounding parts.

Wet sanding
Oxidised, yellow plastic is removed in stages with progressively finer paper, from coarse P400 up to P3000.
03Step 3
Polymer polishing
Fine polishing with a polymer compound restores depth, clarity and gloss to the plastic.

UV ceramic protection
A UV ceramic coating seals the surface and shields it from the sun so the gloss lasts — with a 5-year warranty.

How long does headlight restoration last?
With UV ceramic protection a 5-year warranty is included. Without protection the plastic starts to yellow again within months, which is why the coating is always included.
What's the difference between headlight polishing and headlight restoration?
In practice most people mean the same thing. Restoration describes the whole job of bringing yellowed, cloudy headlights back, while polishing is the step that removes the oxidation. We always include the full sequence — masking, wet sanding, polymer polishing and UV ceramic protection — so you get a complete restoration rather than a surface polish.
Will the car pass inspection after restoration?
Yes. Heavily yellowed, cloudy or cracked headlights are a common inspection failure because they reduce light output. We restore the clarity so the light meets requirements — in the vast majority of cases restoration is enough to pass.
How much does it cost to restore headlights?

How long does it take?
A typical car takes about 45–60 minutes. You can usually wait while we work, or leave the car while you do something else.
Can all headlights be restored?
Most modern headlights are made of polycarbonate plastic and restore beautifully. If the lens is cracked or damaged on the inside, polishing can't help — we'll tell you straight away and won't charge you needlessly.

What's the difference versus replacing the headlights?
New headlights often cost several thousand SEK each plus fitting. Premium restoration gives you headlights like new for 799kr/pair, down from 1499kr/pair.
Can I restore headlights myself?
DIY kits exist, but most leave out UV protection. Sanding removes the headlight's original factory coating, and without a new one the plastic yellows again within months. We sand progressively up to P3000 and seal with UV ceramic protection — which is why we can offer a 5-year warranty on a restoration.
